I am a self-taught software developer looking to apply my skills in a new role.
Particularly, I am interested to break into Software Engineering with a focus on all that's happening behind the scenes.
That being said, I am open for any intermediate step that will bring me closer to that goal.
My first career started with my graduation from the University of Innsbruck with a Masters Degree in Translation Studies and culminated in bringing a new brand of Remote Access Software to the German Speaking Markets as a Business Development Account Manager in Amsterdam.
Now I am ready to go deeper into the weeds for the second half of my career, transitioning from talking about technology to building it. After making my first programming steps with Python - for which I hold a PCEP certification - I moved on swiftly to PostgreSQL and graduated from the online Computer Science Career Path at Codecademy earlier this year. Continuous learning is at the core of my being, so I recently added basic Java to my Tech Stack and are currently immersing myself in the universe of web technologies.
This Terminal Game let's you play the classic Battleship Game against the computer, discovering the location of randomly placed ships.
The program takes into consideration input like number and ages of players when suggesting the next boardgame to play.
The execution of this script showcases the fetch-decode-execute cycle using a set of pre-defined commands similar to MIPS instructions.
